This here bag, what they call the Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG, I hear it’s a real fancy one. Original order, they say. Well, I ain’t never had no fancy bag like that, but I seen some pictures. It looks like something them rich folks in the city would carry.
This YSL, they make all kinds of stuff, not just bags. Clothes, shoes, you name it. This bag, though, it’s special, I guess. Heard it got somethin’ to do with this fella, Yves Saint Laurent. He was a big shot, making fancy things for people with more money than sense, if you ask me.
Now, they say this LE CARRé SATCHEL, it’s made real good. Good leather, I reckon. Strong stitching. It ain’t gonna fall apart on you like some of them cheap things you get at the market. This is the real deal, or so they tell me.
But, Lord, the price! You could buy a whole cow for what they want for this one bag! I don’t know who’s payin’ that kind of money, but it ain’t me. I’ll stick to my old tote bag. It gets the job done just fine. Still, I guess some folks like to have these YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG things. Makes ’em feel important, I suppose.
I saw one lady carryin’ one of them YSL bags once. She was all dressed up, head to toe in fancy clothes. Looked like she just stepped out of one of them magazines. I reckon this LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG is that kind of thing. For special occasions and such.
They say this Saint Laurent, he was French. Makes sense, I guess. Them French folks are always going on about fashion and all that. This bag, it’s got that French look to it, I suppose. Simple, but fancy at the same time. Don’t know how they do it.
They make these bags in all kinds of colors, too, I seen. Black, brown, even some bright ones. This LE CARRé SATCHEL, it’s usually a plain color, but I guess you can get it in different styles if you really want. Me, I’d just stick to a plain brown one. Goes with everything.

I don’t know where they make these things, exactly. Probably in some big factory somewhere. But they say it’s all handmade, this YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. Lots of work goes into it, I reckon. That’s why it costs so much, I guess. All that time and effort.
