Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Fendi Mon Tresor bucket bag for a while. It’s a classic, you know? Fendi started making them in 2018, and they’re still hot. I finally decided to go for it and get a good copy.
First things first, I started doing some digging online. I wanted to know everything about the real deal. Turns out, this bag is made by Fendi, this big-shot Italian fashion company that started way back in 1925 in Rome. They’re famous for their leather stuff, and this bag is no exception.
I learned that the Mon Tresor is a small bucket bag with a drawstring and some metal bits shaped like the Fendi logo. Really cute. And it’s got two straps you can take off – one long, one short. I saw some pictures of the bag made of brown leather with this “FF” pattern, and some in plain white leather. All of them looked really classy.
After getting a good idea of what the original was like, I started hunting for a good replica. I compared a bunch of them side by side. Checked the stitching, the material, the hardware… you name it. Found one that looked almost identical to the real thing. The leather felt good, the Fendi logo details were on point, and it even came with a dust bag. Score!
The Copy
- Material: Pretty decent leather, felt soft and sturdy.
- Details: The FF logo pattern was embossed nicely, not just printed on.
- Hardware: The metal parts had a nice weight to them, not flimsy at all. They call gold-finish.
- Straps: Came with both the long and short straps, just like the original.
- Inside: Had a suede lining and even a little leather tag that said “FENDI Made in Italy”.
- Serial Number: To my surprise, it actually had a serial number on the leather tag! Fendi started doing that in the 80s, so it was a nice touch.
I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the quality of this copy. It’s definitely not the real Fendi, which I heard they make them in this fancy factory in Capannuccia, near Florence. But for the price, it’s a great alternative. I’ve been carrying it around for a few weeks now, and it’s holding up great. It fits all my everyday stuff, and I get compliments on it all the time. The long strap and short strap all included. If you’re thinking about getting a Mon Tresor but don’t wanna drop a ton of cash, I’d say definitely consider a good replica. Just do your research and make sure you’re getting one that’s well-made. It really feels like a steal!
