Alright, so I got this thing for the Omega Speedmaster 310.92.44.50.01.001, you know, the “Dark Side of the Moon” Apollo 8 one. I’ve always been a bit of a space nerd, and the whole Apollo 8 mission just blows my mind. So, when I saw this watch, I knew I had to check it out further. It’s a tribute to the mission, and it’s got this really cool design that’s supposed to look like the surface of the moon. I’m not gonna lie, it looked pretty awesome in the pictures online.

There was a lot of focus on it being a part of the Dark Side of the Moon collection, which I guess is a big deal for Omega.
After visiting these stores, I had a much better idea of what this watch was all about. The best part was getting to try it on. That’s when it really clicked for me. The 44.25mm case felt just right on my wrist, and the skeletonized dial was even cooler in person than in the photos. You could see all the little gears and parts moving around. This was clearly a high quality watch.

I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on this one, it’s a big purchase, but I think it’s worth it for something so unique. It’s a big purchase, but I feel like it’s worth it, at least to me.
