Alright, so let’s talk about this Rolex GMT-Master II I picked up. You know, the one they call “Root Beer.” It’s a pretty snazzy watch, I gotta say. I’ve always been a fan of Rolex, and this one caught my eye because of that two-tone bezel. It’s not your everyday watch, that’s for sure.
First off, I went for the original order version. I figured, if I’m gonna do it, I might as well do it right, you know? This bad boy’s got a 40mm stainless steel case, which is just the right size for my wrist. Not too big, not too small. The dial is black, simple and clean, with those little index markers. Nothing too flashy, just the way I like it.
Now, the real star of the show is that bezel. It’s this mix of 18K Everose gold and ceramic, in brown and black. That’s where the “Root Beer” name comes from, I guess. Looks pretty unique, if you ask me. I spent a good chunk of time just admiring that bezel when I first got the watch. It really pops, especially in the sunlight.

The bracelet is a mix of stainless steel and that 18K Everose gold, just like the bezel. It’s comfortable, and it looks good. I’ve worn this watch with everything from jeans and a t-shirt to a suit, and it always looks the part. It is called the “Oyster bracelet”, sounds luxury, I like it.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with this Rolex. It’s a classic design, with a bit of a twist. It’s the kind of watch I can see myself wearing for years to come. If you’re in the market for a high-end watch, and you like the “Root Beer” look, I’d say go for it. You won’t regret it.
